We started the day with a sign: a heart. In it we put into words the dream that each of us treasure in our hearts at this moment for our Congregation, our humanity, our Church.
We then practiced attention listening. Bobby Moore, facilitator of this meeting, helped us to discover that there are different levels of listening and the deeper level is called listening to ignite – listening to light a fire with passion. This is an uncommon form of listening. To listen in this way I must suspend my ideas and my needs to understand the other. It is a way of listening that connects us to something much bigger than ourselves. In this mode of listening, I am able to follow the dreams of others.
We put in the hands of the Lord our listening and our dreams of the next days of our Assembly.
